This is an exciting chance to join a growing data function during a major modernisation phase. You will take real ownership of dbt development, help shape a new data platform, and play a key role in building reliable, scalable analytics foundations.

The Company

They are a digital subscription business operating a two sided online marketplace with a strong global customer base. Data sits at the centre of their product and growth strategy, and they are currently developing a modern cloud based architecture. The data team has been expanding and now includes specialists across data engineering, analytics engineering and data science, creating a collaborative environment built for innovation.

The Role

You will

* Own and develop dbt models following best practice and internal standards

* Optimise and maintain dbt pipelines to ensure stable, high performing transformations

* Oversee releases into production and support robust governance

* Work closely with data engineering, data science and business stakeholders

* Contribute to maturing the data stack and improving how insights are delivered

* Support the development of medallion architecture and wider modelling strategy

* Play a key role in the onboarding and optimisation of a new Databricks environment

Your Skills and Experience

You will need

* Strong commercial experience working with dbt in a production setting

* Solid SQL skills and experience within a modern cloud data stack

* Proven ability to build, optimise and maintain analytics models

* Good understanding of data modelling concepts and Medallion style approaches

* Experience within a digital, online or web based business

* Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non technical teams
