ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Analytics Engineer will:

-Design and build tested and documented data models in dbt

-Optimise the build of the transformation layer for scalability

-Work with multiple teams and stakeholders, including Data Analysts and Data Scientists to understand needs and turn them into solutions

-Maintain data security, consistency and accuracy through monitoring and testing

-Automate data workflows, version control and deployment practices across the stack

-Uphold clear documentation for datasets, data flows and definitions to support data literacy

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

-Strong sills in SQL and experience with modern data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery)

-3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or a related field

-Technical experience with advanced modelling techniques in dbt

-Understanding of ETL/ELT processes

-Experience with BI semantic layers and data visualisation tools

-Understanding of dimensional modelling, analytics and data warehousing principles best practices

-Clear communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
