THE ROLE

As an Associate Credit Risk Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering analytical projects that help organisations improve their lending and risk strategies. You will lead and support a broad range of projects, combining technical analytics expertise with stakeholder engagement and commercial problem-solving.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Developing and delivering credit risk models, scorecards and analytical solutions.
  • Working with large and complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
  • Conducting statistical analysis using a range of modelling techniques.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of data-driven strategies and decisioning frameworks.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Associate Credit Risk Consultant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience working within credit risk analytics with exposure to credit bureau data.
  • Strong experience in scorecard development and credit risk modelling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or SAS, with a preference for Python.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Experience delivering analytical projects in a client-facing or consultancy environment.

BENEFITS

The successful Associate Credit Risk Consultant will receive a salary up to £70,000 as well as a discretionary bonus.
