We're seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing technology team, driving the modernization of legacy systems and the development of scalable, cloud-native solutions. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to make a direct impact across the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing, developing, and owning scalable data pipelines and APIs.

  • Building infrastructure for optimal ETL/ELT processes across diverse data sources.

  • Working with Azure, dbt, SQL, and Python to deliver cloud-first solutions.

  • Taking ownership of data quality and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Defining and documenting solution architectures and technical designs.

  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders across engineering, data science, and business functions.

  • Supporting troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data management.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and data warehousing best practices.

  • Proven expertise with Azure (data services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Experience deploying via GitHub/Azure DevOps or similar tools.

  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate solutions to both engineers and business stakeholders.

Bonus points:

  • Azure Cloud certifications.

  • Experience with dbt and modern orchestration tools.

  • Exposure to data governance, metadata management, or data quality frameworks.
