Business Development Director - Digital & Marketing Analytics Consultancy

Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days a week, Tues & Thurs, London)Package: OTE £120k+ (Base + Uncapped Commission)Benefits: 25 days holiday, state pension, profit share scheme

A boutique digital consultancy specialising in data and marketing analytics for the financial services sector is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Director to drive structured growth and build its revenue function from the ground up. The business has an excellent reputation within the asset management and investment community and is now looking to convert its strong brand and network into sustainable new business.

This is a high-impact, strategic, and hands-on role - ideal for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and enjoys building structure, process, and performance in equal measure. You'll work directly with the founder and senior leadership team to define the go-to-market strategy, identify and engage prospective clients, and close high-value deals.

• Design and execute a business development strategy aligned with growth objectives.

• Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities within asset management, financial services, and related sectors.

• Lead client conversations end-to-end - from initial contact to close.

• Leverage existing collateral and case studies to position the firm's data and analytics solutions as high-value strategic services.

• Feed back market insight to shape ongoing marketing and proposition development.

• 5-10 years' experience in business development or sales within consulting, data, marketing, or analytics.

• Strong understanding of how data and analytics drive commercial value.

• Experience selling into financial services or asset management highly desirable.

• Proven ability to translate technical or analytical propositions into business outcomes.

• Self-starter with entrepreneurial energy and confidence engaging at C-suite level.
