THE COMPANY:
A large, multi-entity organisation operating across the UK and Europe is seeking an experienced BI Lead to drive reporting transformation and standardisation initiatives. You'll be joining at a key stage of the project, helping to standardise reporting, improve data structures, and implement scalable BI solutions across multiple regions.
THE ROLE:
This is a hands-on BI role with an initial focus on understanding requirements and aligning reporting needs, before moving into delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and translating stakeholder requirements
- Reviewing existing reports, data warehouses, and KPI definitions
- Identifying inconsistencies across regions and contributing to a standardised reporting framework
- Supporting alignment on reporting structures and definitions
- Designing and building Tableau dashboards
- Writing and optimising SQL queries
- Working with Snowflake and supporting data transformations
- Reshaping data systems to support a more centralised reporting model
- Supporting automation and data manipulation
- Using tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation and project tracking
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- You'll need a strong understanding of reporting mechanics and how BI solutions drive business performance, particularly in complex environments with varying data definitions
- Strong Tableau experience (end-to-end dashboard development)
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working on reporting transformation or migration projects
- Experience working across multiple business units or regions
- Experience in subscription-based businesses or large-scale data transformation programmes
Exposure to:
- Snowflake
- Dbt
- Jira & Confluence
Nice to have:
- Python for automation and data manipulation
