This stealth-mode startup has a runway of 18-24 months and strong backing from San Francisco venture capital firms, with a seed round expected next month. Their vision is to build a GPU trading platform that brings transparency and efficiency to GPU-backed securities, a market currently lacking clear price discovery. They're looking for someone with solid technical skills and experience from reputable companies who can contribute hands-on to building this innovative platform.

You'll have the chance to work closely with the founding team, shaping core systems and influencing technical direction in a high-impact environment. The team values adaptability and execution above all, with pedigree becoming less critical if hiring takes longer. Role and Responsibilities

This role focuses on designing and developing robust backend services using Python, leveraging frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. You will work extensively with PostgreSQL for database management, ensuring data integrity and optimized query performance. A key responsibility includes integrating ClaudeCode for advanced coding assistance and automation within the development workflow.

While the role is primarily backend-focused, having a basic understanding of TypeScript will be valuable for occasional UI enhancements and bridging front-end requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in API design, security, and performance tuning will be central to success. Additionally, you'll contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality standards across the platform.
