Location: London - Hybrid Working | Type: Full-time | Level: Mid-level
Overview:
My client is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to help shape and deliver data initiatives that power their digital products and insights. You'll play a key role in defining requirements for our first-party data warehouse and broader data ecosystem, while supporting projects in AI, data products, and governance.
Working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, you'll ensure business needs are clearly understood, effectively prioritised, and successfully delivered using modern data and analytics approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across data and product initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of scope and priorities.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and maintain a high-quality backlog.
- Support delivery in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Analyse data to validate requirements, assess feasibility, and demonstrate business value.
- Present outcomes and insights to stakeholders in a clear, accessible way.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience using JIRA to manage requirements, user stories, and sprint progress - essential.
- Background in data-focused or digital product settings - ideally involving web or mobile app experiences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery).
