This is a high-impact contract for a Business Analyst who enjoys bringing clarity to complex finance reporting environments. You will play a central role in shaping how finance data is defined, reported, and governed across a global organisation, helping stakeholders move from inconsistent reporting towards clear, scalable practices.

They are a global professional services and consultancy organisation operating across multiple regions, with stakeholders spanning Europe, the US West Coast, and Australia. The business relies heavily on accurate financial reporting to support decision-making and governance. The Finance Systems function is investing in stronger reporting frameworks and delivery discipline to support future growth.
The Role and Deliverables
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering for finance and management reporting, working closely with global stakeholders.
- Document current reporting processes, data definitions, and pain points across multiple tools.
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured documentation for delivery teams.
- Support and drive reporting delivery through to rollout, including stakeholder reviews and progress updates.
- Test dashboards and reports prior to release, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Help establish improved reporting practices, frameworks, and standards for future delivery.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst working on finance or management reporting initiatives.
- Confident engaging with finance stakeholders on financial reporting, KPIs, and underlying data.
- Proven capability in requirements gathering, documentation, and supporting delivery end to end.
- Experience working in complex, inconsistent, or overlapping reporting environments.
- Comfortable working with SQL-based data, data models, and reporting tools such as Power BI and DAX, or equivalent modelling concepts.
- Experience testing reports or dashboards prior to go-live.
- Able to prioritise effectively, manage expectations, and communicate progress with confidence.
- Experience working with offshore teams and global stakeholders.
