CMS Architect - Contentful - Contract Agency - Telco Client £350-£390 per day - Outside IR35 London - 1 day per week in the office

This contract offers the chance to take ownership of a high impact Contentful ecosystem for a major digital team. You will step into a strategically important role where you will shape how content is architected, structured and delivered across key customer-facing channels.

The Company

They are a well known consumer brand with a large digital presence and a strong focus on modern content operations. Their teams are investing heavily in scalable content platforms and digital experience capabilities, with Contentful at the centre of their technology stack. You will join a collaborative environment and work closely with product, engineering and content teams.

The Role and Deliverables

• Lead the architecture, configuration and optimisation of the Contentful platform, ensuring scalable content structures and schemas.
• Design and implement content models that support complex digital experiences and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Own the governance and structure of the Digital Asset Management setup, ensuring assets are organised and accessible within CMS workflows.
• Work with cross functional teams to translate content requirements into robust architectural solutions within Contentful.
• Support integrations with personalisation and experience platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity with the CMS.
• Manage knowledge transfer with the existing specialist to ensure a smooth transition.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on expertise configuring and architecting Contentful, including content modelling, schemas and governance.
• Solid understanding of CMS architecture and how content platforms integrate with wider business systems.
• Practical experience working with Digital Asset Management solutions for web and digital experience delivery.
• Familiarity with personalisation tools that connect with CMS platforms such as Adobe Target or Optimizely.
• Confident working with cross functional teams and translating requirements into technical configuration.
• Able to start at short notice and work on site in London one day per week.
