Customer Analytics Manager (Contract)

This is a short-term contract opportunity to step into a critical gap within an established data and insights function. The assignment combines hands-on analytics with strategic insight development, shaping customer experience and go-to-market thinking during a sensitive period for the organisation.

They are a well-established, digitally led consumer business with a strong online and app-based customer proposition. Data and insights sit at the heart of their decision-making, supporting customer, brand and commercial strategy. The organisation is investing heavily in its data platforms and values insight that can be translated into clear, actionable outcomes.

The Role and Deliverables

Role within the data and insights team, reporting into the Head of Insights.
Develop and interpret customer and consumer insights across customer, brand and sentiment domains.
Combine qualitative research with quantitative analysis to build a rounded view of customer behaviour.
Deliver market share analysis and performance insight to inform go-to-market decisions.
Produce clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Contribute hands-on across projects already defined within the insights roadmap.

Your Skills & Experience

Strong capability in SQL, with confidence working directly with large datasets.
Proven experience using Power BI, with exposure to Tableau also beneficial.
Background in a digitally led, customer-facing business, such as online retail, app-based or e-commerce environments.
Ability to blend qualitative insight with quantitative analysis to tell a compelling customer story.
Comfortable operating at manager level, providing strategic thinking while remaining hands-on.
Experience working in fast-paced environments where confidentiality and sensitivity are required.
