Customer Insight Analyst Location: Manchester - Hybrid (2 days in office)Salary: Up to £33,000 + benefits Start Date: ASAP

You'll be joining an insights team of 10, working at the heart of data-driven decision making.

The Role This is an early-career role, ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years' analytics experience. As a Customer Insight Analyst, you'll work across multiple datasets including learning, transactional, and operational data, turning numbers into meaningful stories that shape strategic decisions. You'll gain broad exposure to reporting, stakeholder communication, and insight generation in a supportive, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports, taking ownership of the backlog.

• Use SQL for data extraction and transformation across multiple business sources.

• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and clear recommendations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions.

• Build engaging data visualisations that bring insights to life.

• Support data governance and quality assurance processes.

• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and confident way.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• SQL skills with experience querying relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI (or another BI/visualisation tool).

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

• Python for data analysis and visualisation.

• Previous exposure to education, learning, or customer analytics datasets.

• Experience working in a team-focused, collaborative environment.

Interview Process

• Initial chat with hiring manager.

• 1.5-hour interview (on-site if available on a Wednesday).

• Final interviews with the wider team the following week.
