Data Analyst (Finance)

£50,000-£55,000
London (Hybrid / Flexible)

I'm hiring a Data Analyst for a fast-growing healthcare technology business helping reduce patient waiting lists and improve access to clinical services.

This is a genuinely unique role sitting between finance, analytics, and operational reporting, offering plenty of ownership and exposure to senior stakeholders.

The company

A healthcare technology and services business. The business already supports multiple major contracts and continues to grow rapidly, generating large volumes of operational and financial data that underpin commercial decision-making.

The role

This role combines:

  • Finance reporting
  • Data analysis
  • Financial modelling
  • Business intelligence
  • Data management

You'll work closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams to ensure reporting is accurate, scalable, and commercially useful.

There is currently a significant volume of historic data that needs reviewing, reconciling, and loading into reporting systems, so this role will suit someone who enjoys getting hands-on with data while also improving processes and reporting frameworks.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and develop finance reporting and management information.
  • Maintain forecasting, cash flow, and business planning models.
  • Reconcile data across Xero, SQL and Power BI.
  • Analyse patient activity, contract performance, volumes, and financial outcomes.
  • Produce reporting for senior leadership covering:
    • Cash performance
    • Contract performance
    • Patient volumes
    • Forecasts and business performance
  • Investigate discrepancies across large datasets and improve data quality.
  • Build new reports and improve existing reporting processes.
  • Partner closely with Finance and IT to improve analytical capability across the business.

What they're looking for Must-haves

  • Strong background in finance analysis or supporting finance stakeholders
  • Strong SQL, Power BI, and Excel skills
  • Experience working with large datasets and reconciliations
  • Ability to turn data into meaningful commercial insight
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience with Xero
  • Healthcare, NHS, or service-based businesses
  • Experience working in growing or scale-up environments

Why join?

  • Work directly with the Finance Director and senior leadership team
  • Significant ownership from day one
  • Opportunity to improve and redesign reporting processes
  • Exposure to complex healthcare contracts and commercial decision-making
  • Blend of finance, analytics, and technology
  • Join a growing healthcare technology business making a genuine impact

Interview process

  • First interview with senior finance leadership
  • Final interview with finance and data stakeholders

If you're somebody who enjoys combining finance, reporting, SQL, Power BI, and commercial insight, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where your work will have visible impact from day one.
