A leading company in the retail sector is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their central Operations & Data team and play a pivotal role in driving automation, scalability, and efficiency across third-party partner platforms.

THE COMPANY:

This business partners with major third-party platforms to maximise product visibility and sales. Their data team is at the heart of commercial operations, and they're now investing in stronger engineering capabilities to automate manual processes and support real-time data flows.

THE ROLE:

A Data Engineer will need to:

• Act as the knowledge hub for all product and sales data shared with third-party partners
• Support the creation of dashboards that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
• Handle new and evolving partner data requirements
• Troubleshoot issues such as product visibility or pricing discrepancies
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and APIs to streamline processes

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong experience with SQL
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Databricks
• Bonus: knowledge of web scraping
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work with commercial stakeholders

THE BENEFITS:

You will receive a salary, dependent on experience. Salary is up to £50,000. On top of the salary, there are some fantastic extra benefits.
