They have developed a proprietary, cutting-edge technology platform that integrates decision engines, databases, embedded modelling, analytics capabilities, and third-party integrations. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to take ownership of key aspects of a rapidly evolving data estate and infrastructure. The role is broad in scope and will offer excellent career progression opportunities for the right individual. You will play a pivotal role in evolving the company's data stack, working with modern tools such as DBT and Airflow, and developing scalable, high-quality data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evolution of the company's data stack, with a focus on automation and scalability.

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure.

  • Develop and enforce data governance frameworks and best practices.

  • Collaborate with business teams, software engineers, and senior executives to align data strategy with business needs.

  • Advocate for a strong data culture across the organization.

Your Experience The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven Data Engineer with a passion for innovation and high-quality data solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of Data Engineering experience.

  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.

  • Proven experience in managing complex data estates and developing automated data pipelines.

  • Good understanding of testing principles and deployment processes.

  • Experience with technologies such as Redshift, Airflow, DBT, and AWS.

  • Strong grasp of data modelling, database architecture, and governance principles.

  • Hands-on experience with Git and modern development workflows.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, and a self-starter attitude.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
