The company is investing heavily in its data landscape and AI initiatives, creating an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to play a key role in modernising and expanding critical data systems. THE ROLE: You will take ownership of designing and building scalable SQL Server environments, developing new data ingestion processes, and supporting strategic transformation projects across the business. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building SQL Server databases from scratch, including schema design, tables, views, stored procedures, and indexing.
• Developing end-to-end data ingestion workflows and ETL processes for new data sources and third-party platforms.
• Reviewing, optimising, and modernising existing SQL Server and SSIS environments.
• Building automation solutions using Python, APIs, and browser-based technologies.
• Working with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: You will bring strong capability in:

• SQL Server database architecture, schema design, and development.
• Building SQL Server environments from the ground up.
• SSIS development and optimisation.
• Azure-based integrations, migrations, and data transformation projects.
• Python automation, REST APIs, and data integration.
• Stakeholder management and communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Tableau or other data visualisation platform experience.
