This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a data-driven organisation where analytics, automation, and emerging AI technologies are central to business decision-making. You will play a key role in designing SQL Server environments from the ground up and delivering solutions that directly influence business outcomes.

THE ROLE
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and build SQL Server databases from scratch
- Modernise and enhance the organisation's existing database architecture
- Maintain and review existing dashboards and develop new reporting streams
- Build automation solutions using Python and APIs
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support business objectives
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience designing and building SQL Server environments from scratch is essential
- Strong understanding of database architecture and schema design experience is essential
- Experience working with SSIS, ETL processes and data migration/ transformation projects within Azure
- Experience using Python for automation and working with REST APIs
- Exposure to Tableau highly desirable or similar business intelligence tools
- Confident using AI tools to support operational efficiency
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Up to £55,000 base salary
- Contributory pension scheme
