Central London (4 days a week)

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits

You will play a key role in helping the business establish a stronger data culture, improve data literacy, and build trust in the data that supports critical decision making across global teams.

The Company They are a highly respected international organisation operating in a complex, data-rich environment. The business is growing its data governance capability and placing significant importance on data standards, ownership, and quality. You will work in a collaborative team that partners with global stakeholders to streamline processes, define governance frameworks, and enhance how data is used across core business functions.

The Role Depending on experience, you will support or lead data governance activity across the organisation. Responsibilities include:

* Acting as a key point of contact for data governance requests and stakeholder engagement across global offices.* Managing the data governance issues log, including prioritisation, tracking, and driving resolution.* Working closely with Data Stewards to understand data domains, ownership and usage.* Supporting or leading Data Steward meetings and helping stakeholders apply governance processes correctly.* Configuring, maintaining, and improving the data catalogue and metadata within the data management tool.* Helping the business adopt governance standards by improving process documentation and data literacy.* Identifying continuous improvement opportunities across data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance processes.* Supporting business teams in understanding where data is used and how it flows across systems.

Your Skills and Experience* Strong commercial experience in data governance, data management, business analysis or similar data roles.* Ability to work confidently with stakeholders, guiding them through processes and following up proactively.* Experience with data governance or cataloguing tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Data360 or similar.* Good understanding of metadata, data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks.* Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear actions for the business.* Experience working in regulated, professional services or global organisations is advantageous.* For senior candidates, deeper governance expertise and the ability to lead frameworks, meetings and deliverables.
