DATA PRODUCT MANAGER

£400 - £480 PER DAY

FULLY REMOTE (MUST BE BASED IN THE UK)

6 MONTH CONTRACT

THE COMPANY:

A fast-scaling financial services business is seeking a Data Product Manager to join their growing team and be the interface between the data and product teams.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Product Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Shaping the data roadmap and improving maturity within the data function.
• Ensuring data is accessible and actionable across the business.
• Acting as the bridge between the data team and wider stakeholders, improving communication and alignment.
• Supporting data teams across ML, BI, and Data Engineering to deliver against business priorities.
• Helping implement best practices, processes, and communication frameworks.
• Driving the commercialisation and scaling of data within a sensitive, regulated financial environment.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Background in data (3+ years) such as SQL, data engineering, or data analysis, with a transition into product management (2+ years).
• Strong understanding of datasets, reporting, and analytics.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries
• Track record of working with data teams and translating technical work into commercial outcomes.
• Experience taking a data product or function from low maturity to scaled and structured delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills-able to partner across product, data, and leadership teams.
• Comfortable working in fast-scaling, high-growth environments.
