This is a high-impact contract opportunity to take ownership of a complex data programme at a pivotal stage. You will step into an organisation that has completed its strategy phase and now needs strong leadership to translate plans into delivery, bringing structure, governance, and momentum across multiple workstreams.

The Company They are a large, asset-focused organisation undergoing a significant data transformation to improve efficiency and decision making. With a clear strategy already defined, they are investing in their data capabilities to reduce operational costs and unlock greater business value. You will be working alongside senior leaders across analytics and engineering in an environment that is evolving and ambitious.

The Role and Deliverables

• Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of a complex data programme across multiple workstreams
• Establish clear governance frameworks, prioritisation processes, and an actionable roadmap
• Align business demand with data capabilities, ensuring delivery is focused on measurable outcomes
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technical teams
• Oversee integration of asset data into a developing lakehouse environment
• Provide clear programme reporting, progress updates, and ensure adoption of data solutions across the business

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience delivering large-scale data programmes, beyond individual project level
• Proven capability in data migration, data warehouse, or lakehouse initiatives
• Experience stepping into mid-programme or post-strategy delivery environments and driving execution
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage from C-suite through to technical teams
• Strong understanding of governance, PMO structures, and building clarity within ambiguous environments
• Practical exposure to data governance and aligning data initiatives with business priorities
• Experience working within B2B or enterprise environments, with a collaborative yet assertive approach
