DATA QUALITY ANALYST

£400 - £500 PER DAY INSIDE IR35

2 DAYS PER WEEK (CENTRAL LONDON)

THE COMPANY:

Join a large, highly regulated organisation operating within the legal sector as a Data Quality Analyst.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Quality Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assess core datasets across HR, Finance, and other business areas, evaluating their current quality levels.
• Apply and refine a Gold / Silver / Bronze data quality standard and provide clear rationale for classification.
• Define what "good" looks like for each quality level and develop processes for improving datasets from Bronze Silver Gold.
• Engage business stakeholders to ensure understanding, adoption, and consistent use of the quality framework.
• Provide clear reporting on areas of trusted data vs. areas of concern.
• Support the organisation's long-term data literacy programme.
• Review and advise on the usage and suitability of current data tools within the business.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A successful Data Quality Analyst will have:

• Proven experience in data quality assessment, classification frameworks, and data improvement processes.
• Experience working with large organisations; experience in a law firm or similarly regulated environment is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured HR and Finance data.

• Ability to articulate data quality expectations and standards to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building or implementing Gold/Silver/Bronze or similar maturity models.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse business teams.
• Awareness of data literacy principles and data governance best practices.
