Are you a data scientist with a passion for time-series modelling and financial markets? We're working with a leading London-based hedge fund that's seeking a Data Scientist to join their growing research and investment team. What you'll be doing:

  • Exploring, processing, and analysing complex time-series datasets.

  • Designing and implementing advanced statistical, ML, and deep learning models for forecasting.

  • Applying best practices in model development, testing, and validation.

  • Working closely with quants and engineering teams to integrate models into investment workflows.

  • Contributing directly to investment strategies with your research and insights.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with time-series modelling (ARIMA, VAR, GARCH, Prophet, LSTMs, Transformers, etc.).

  • Proficiency in the Python ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, PyTorch/TensorFlow; polars/dask a plus).

  • Familiarity with SQL and handling large datasets.

  • Curiosity and interest in financial markets and macroeconomics.

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline a strong advantage.
