This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading food & beverage brand! You will be working to optimise their marketing and web analytics.
THE COMPANY
As a Digital Analyst in this leading beauty brand you will have an exciting opportunity to work in a wider data team, delivering high-impact projects. This company are a household brand name and would be well-recognised in the beauty market.
THE ROLE
As a Digital Analyst, you can be expected to be involved in the following:
- UX analysis - Looking at how customers interact with the site/app and identifying areas for improvement.
- Competitor data - There's currently little in place, so this person could take ownership of bringing in competitor insights.
- Website improvements - The new site launched a few years ago-how can it be optimised further?
- Peak trading analysis - Deep dives into peak periods to understand performance and opportunities.Brand reporting - Going beyond just onsite data to look at market share, stock availability, and other key brand metrics.
- Market share tracking - Rather than just pulling and manipulating data, this role will be involved in plugging insights into dashboards.
- Customer analysis - A big focus on getting under the skin of customer behaviour.
- Collaboration - Working closely with teams across the business, building strong relationships and keeping communication clear.
- Working with the GTM / Tag Management team
- Reporting & Power BI - There's a separate Power BI team who build dashboards, but they don't currently integrate with GA data-this needs joining up.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Digital Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
- Google Analytics (GA) - Strong understanding of GA to drive insights and integrate with reporting.
- BigQuery & SQL - Experience exporting GA data into BigQuery to support dashboard creation and deeper analysis.
- Power BI - Preferred, but open to experience with other reporting tools.
- Google Tag Manager (GTM) - An understanding of tagging is ideal but not essential
- Digital & Ecommerce Data Expertise - Experience working with web and app data, ideally within a digital or ecommerce setting.
