Digital Data Analyst (Website Analytics) - Hybrid Working

Location: Burton Upon Trent / London (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week onsite)Salary: £50,000 Sector: Established UK hospitality group

About the Role: Looking for a skilled Digital Data Analyst to join a growing digital analytics team supporting a well-known hospitality brand. This role focuses on digital data quality, analytics, and reporting across 80+ websites, driving improvements in customer journeys through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build end-to-end reports and interactive dashboards using SQL, GA4, Looker, and PowerBI

  • Identify and analyze drop-off points in customer journeys to improve conversion rates

  • Validate and debug digital tracking tags to ensure data accuracy

  • Extract and analyze data from multiple sources including Excel and data warehouses

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support digital performance and strategy

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (daily use preferred) and custom report building

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis

  • Experience creating dashboards in Looker or PowerBI (examples encouraged)

  • Solid understanding of data validation and tag debugging techniques

  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences

  • Bonus: Familiarity with Microsoft Clarity and conversion rate optimization

Working Arrangement:

  • Hybrid working model with 1-2 days per week onsite between Burton Upon Trent and London offices
  • Regular travel to Burton required (approximately 2 days per month) for stakeholder engagement

  • Flexible working, with a preference for consistent office presence to support team collaboration
