A growing ecommerce and retail brand is looking for a Digital Data Analyst to join its evolving data team and help drive smarter commercial decision-making across digital trading and performance.
This is a hands-on role focused on turning digital and ecommerce data into actionable insight for non-technical stakeholders. You'll work closely with ecommerce, trading and marketing teams to understand customer behaviour, identify opportunities across the funnel, and build reporting that supports business growth.
The business is currently modernising its data environment and investing heavily in analytics capability, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where they can have real influence.
What you'll be doing:Building dashboards and reporting in Power BI
Analysing ecommerce and website performance
Working with GA4 data to uncover actionable insights
Supporting digital trading and marketing teams with ad hoc analysis
Identifying gaps in tracking and data collection
Translating business questions into clear data requirements for engineering teams
Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Strong experience with GA4 and ecommerce analytics
Power BI skills including DAX and semantic modelling
Experience within retail or ecommerce environments
Understanding of digital funnels and conversion metrics
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial mindset with a passion for insight generation
GTM or data layer exposure
BigQuery experience
Python or SQL knowledge
Exposure to paid media data (Google Ads, Meta etc.)
