London (Hybrid) | Outside IR35 | 2-3x a week on site | £300-350 Day Rate | 5 month Contract

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of digital commerce within a large-scale international transformation programme. You will play a key role in translating digital shelf intelligence and AI-driven insights into actionable commercial strategies across multiple markets, helping to drive measurable business impact.

Operating across international markets, they are building a specialist centre of excellence focused on digital shelf performance, product experience management and AI-enabled commerce. Their goal is to create scalable, data-driven capabilities that improve commercial outcomes and accelerate innovation.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Analyse and validate digital shelf opportunities using analytics and AI-powered tools.
  • Translate insights into prioritised, market-ready action plans that drive commercial value.
  • Quantify the potential business impact of digital shelf optimisation opportunities.
  • Create clear action plans for cross-functional stakeholders including content, product, commercial and market teams.
  • Monitor digital shelf KPIs, track progress and report on business outcomes.
  • Support onboarding, training and adoption of digital shelf tools, workflows and best practices across markets.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in digital shelf, eCommerce analytics or digital commerce consulting.
  • Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, prioritised business actions.
  • Good understanding of digital shelf performance, including content quality, product availability, search visibility and conversion.
  • Experience working with digital shelf analytics, business intelligence or product content platforms.
  • Ability to quantify commercial opportunities and produce evidence-based recommendations.
  • Understanding of AI, automation, GenAI SEO and emerging commerce technologies.
  • Experience developing playbooks, training materials and capability-building programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence global and regional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Consumer goods or FMCG experience would be beneficial.
