The Opportunity

We're partnered with a high-growth digital business looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to lead customer acquisition strategy and drive the next phase of growth.

Reporting into the Chief Customer Officer, this is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping performance marketing strategy, scaling customer acquisition, and delivering profitable growth through a data-driven, test-and-learn approach.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Define and execute the long-term performance marketing strategy.
  • Drive profitable customer acquisition across key digital channels.
  • Develop channel investment frameworks and growth plans aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with Product, Analytics and Marketing teams to optimise customer journeys and conversion.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing performance marketing function.
  • Manage agency relationships and ensure effective execution across channels.
  • Champion experimentation, innovation and continuous optimisation.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and play a key role in broader customer growth strategy.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading large-scale performance marketing programmes.
  • Strong background in fintech, digital, marketplace, subscription or technology businesses.
  • Deep understanding of performance channels, customer acquisition and incrementality.
  • Experience managing significant budgets and agency partnerships.
  • Commercially focused with a strong understanding of growth, profitability and customer lifetime value.
  • Data-driven mindset combined with strong strategic and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
