What you'll be doing:

Designing, implementing, and testing front-end applications for FlowOS.

Contributing across the full development lifecycle: from feature conception to release and customer testing.

Choosing the right tools and influencing the long-term strategy for the front-end tech stack.

Working in a cross-functional team, sharing responsibility for development, integration, and deployment.

Building impactful solutions using technologies such as React, D3.js, MapBox, and client-side databases.

Growing into a role with ownership and technical leadership as the web development team expands.
What we're looking for:

3+ years of commercial experience building interactive web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

Experience with Node.js, Webpack, and modern development workflows.

Strong understanding of client-side performance, cross-browser compatibility, and RESTful APIs.

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and UI tools (e.g., Figma).

A passion for building maintainable, scalable, and high-quality software.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Bonus skills:

Data visualisation (e.g., D3.js) or scientific visualisation experience.

Mapping tools (e.g., MapBox) or real-time applications (e.g., WebSockets).
