Company
This company is a global leader in interactive audio for children, with millions of audio devices and figurines sold worldwide. Their award-winning, screen-free system is transforming how kids play and learn independently. Available in over 100 countries and multiple languages, their expanding range of products continues to inspire imagination and support meaningful, tech-enabled play.
The Role
They are looking for an ambitious and motivated Marketing & Growth Data Analyst to join the UK team and help build out their analytic capabilities. You'll also be part of the global Data & Analytics unit, giving you the opportunity to work on scalable data products, collaborate with international colleagues, and expand your expertise.
This is a hands-on analysis role where you'll move seamlessly from pulling and manipulating data to producing clear, actionable insights for the UK Growth and Marketing teams. You'll help monitor performance, understand customer behaviour, evaluate campaigns, and contribute to both tactical and strategic decision-making.
You'll split your time roughly 60% on UK-focused work and 40% on global collaboration, creating local insights while helping to shape global dashboards and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis & Insight - Conduct deep-dive analysis into marketing performance, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Go beyond "what happened" to explain "why" and recommend "what next."
- Campaign Impact Assessment - Evaluate promotions and experiments to determine both immediate and long-term effects on customer spend and retention.
- SQL Data Extraction & Manipulation - Pull, join, and transform data from Snowflake and other sources, working with data marts and dbt models.
- Data Visualisation - Create clear, compelling Tableau dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels.
- Marketing KPI Tracking - Support the marketing team in measuring key performance metrics (e.g., acquisition cost, retention rates, channel ROI).
- Proactive Opportunity Spotting - Identify trends, anomalies, or risks in the data and bring them to the attention of the business without waiting for a request.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, sales, and growth teams in the UK, while engaging with global analytics peers to align on best practices and standards.
- Enablement & Self-Service - Support colleagues in becoming more self-sufficient in accessing and interpreting data.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in data analytics roles, ideally in marketing, growth, or e-commerce environments.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau (or similar visualisation tools).
- A strong statistical foundation and ability to apply the right analytical methods.
- Understanding of marketing metrics such as CAC, LTV, retention, and channel ROI.
- The ability to work independently, structure your own analysis, and deliver actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive, curious approach to solving problems.
