ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Head Of Data Governance will: * Translate group-level strategy into clear, measurable and prioritised governance initiatives. * Define and implementing policies, standards, and processes across multiple functions. * Design metrics, outcomes and frameworks to quantify the impact of better data governance. * Support a finance transformation by establishing coherent definitions and trusted data for reporting. * Work as a team of one with dotted-line support from data stewards and subject matter experts. * Navigate a large, complex organisation to unblock issues, diagnose why things are not working, and create practical solutions. * Provide hands-on delivery while influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:~The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: * Strong experience delivering data governance frameworks, policies, and processes. * Ability to work autonomously and drive delivery end-to-end. * Comfortable operating as both strategist and hands-on practitioner. * Skilled at navigating large organisations, influencing senior stakeholders, and addressing structural blockers. * Experience defining metrics, outcomes, or value frameworks to measure governance impact. * Confident working in environments with limited resources and distributed ownership. * No specific technical stack required; focus is on governance, process, and organisational alignment.
