Head of Commercial Analytics

London | Hybrid - 3 days per week £120,000-£140,000 + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Commercial Analytics to join a high-growth, data-led business in London.

This is a senior role with significant exposure across the wider organisation, working closely with leadership teams to use data and insight to support commercial strategy and decision-making.

You'll lead and shape the commercial analytics agenda, helping the business understand performance, identify opportunities and make better, data-driven decisions.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading commercial analytics across key areas of the business
• Using data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to solve complex commercial problems
• Developing clear, actionable insight from large and varied datasets
• Supporting strategic planning and decision-making
• Improving analytical approaches, processes and ways of working
• Communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to analysis

We're looking for an experienced analytics leader who can combine strong technical ability with commercial judgement.

You'll ideally have:

• Significant experience in commercial, customer, strategy or product analytics
• Excellent SQL and Python skills
• A strong academic background, ideally within a STEM discipline
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• The ability to simplify complex problems and communicate insights clearly
• A pragmatic, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment
