The Role In this role, you will lead the organisation's data governance strategy and empower teams to manage their data with clarity and accountability. Key responsibilities include: * Leading and overseeing data governance processes across global functions. * Setting clear expectations for data ownership, documentation and quality. * Improving data availability so that users can access consistent, well-described information. * Chairing key governance forums to strengthen collaboration and shared learning. * Acting as the business owner for cross-functional data products, ensuring integrity and usability. * Partnering closely with technology teams to align business and technical requirements.
Your Skills and Experience You will bring: * Strong commercial experience delivering data governance frameworks at scale. * Expertise in data catalogues, metadata management and data quality processes. * Proven ability to safeguard data integrity, accuracy and consistency. * Strong experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar. * Confidence leading cross-functional teams and supporting collaborative working. * Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including communicating complex topics clearly. * The ability to think strategically about global data governance and drive innovative solutions.
