Head of Data - Agency Salary up to £125,000

This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a brand-new data function for a fast-growing organisation where data is central to shaping commercial, operational, and strategic decision-making.

The Role In this newly created position, you will architect and lead the complete data function from the ground up. You will:

• Build and deploy a centralised data warehouse using modern cloud technologies.
• Integrate core business systems to create a single, reliable data environment.
• Develop high-impact dashboards and reporting for senior leaders and operational teams.
• Establish robust data pipelines, governance frameworks, and architecture standards.
• Shape and deliver the organisation's data strategy in alignment with commercial goals.
• Build and lead a small, high-performing data team.
• Partner with finance, commercial, and operational teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Champion data literacy and promote data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Your Skills and Experience To succeed, you will bring:

• Strong commercial experience building or scaling data functions in complex or fast-moving environments.
• Deep technical capability across data warehousing, integration, and analytics, ideally with modern cloud platforms.
• Confidence in working with multiple data sources and business systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, delivery-focused approach and an entrepreneurial mindset.
