Remote, United Kingdom. £100,000 to £140,000

This is a rare opportunity to join an early stage data consultancy that is redefining how modern professional services should operate. You will shape the technical vision from day one, work directly with clients, and build data platforms that transform how music and investment-led organisations use their data.

The Company

They are a young and ambitious data consultancy focused on data engineering, automation, and machine learning. Their clients span private equity backed organisations and the music industry, helping them turn fragmented, manual processes into scalable, data native environments. With a small senior team already in place and secured funding, they are growing rapidly and looking for someone who can play a foundational role in their technical direction.

The Role

You will take a hands on leadership position, combining architecture, delivery, and client consulting.

Key responsibilities include:

* Working directly with clients to translate ambiguous challenges into clear technical solutions.

* Shaping the data and infrastructure strategy from the ground up.

* Designing and delivering modern data platforms using AWS, ETL, orchestration tools, and workflow automation.

* Running workshops, defining technical roadmaps, and leading early builds.

* Introducing data pipelines, centralisation, automation, and later contributing to predictive capability.

* Helping scale delivery by bringing in contractors as patterns mature.

Your Skills and Experience

* Strong background in data engineering and infrastructure.

* Expertise in ETL design, data modelling, data normalisation, and modern data architecture.

* End to end capability building data platforms in cloud environments, ideally AWS.

* Confident working with orchestration tools and DAG based workflows.

* Consulting mindset with the ability to run workshops and engage with senior stakeholders.

* Experience leading, mentoring, or growing teams.

* Exposure to machine learning or predictive use cases is beneficial.

* Experience in the music industry is a bonus but not essential.

What They Offer

* The opportunity to define the technical foundations of a consultancy from the earliest stage.

* High impact work with private equity backed and music industry organisations.

* Fast progression as the business scales.
