The Role You will lead analytics within a domain focused on consumer behaviour, content performance, and digital product experience. Your work will span team leadership, hands-on analytics, and shaping the future direction of data within this space.
Key responsibilities include:* Managing and developing a small analytics team, providing coaching, feedback, and long-term growth support.* Leading the analytics roadmap for your squad, prioritising workloads and identifying new opportunities for impact.* Building and maintaining reporting products to support decision-making across digital content and platform teams.* Conducting deep-dive analysis into behaviour, trends, and performance across podcast, video, app, and social data.* Working closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and content stakeholders.* Ensuring data quality through structured testing and analytical rigour.* Supporting strategic projects related to digital content expansion, new brand launches, and consumer engagement.
Your Skills and Experience You will succeed in this role if you bring:* Strong commercial experience in SQL and data visualisation tools.* Confident hands-on analytical capability, including experience exploring and shaping large datasets.* Experience mentoring or managing analysts, with a coaching-led approach to development.* The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.* Experience working with digital products, content platforms, or media environments.* Clear communication skills and the ability to translate insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.* An appreciation for effective dashboard and product design, ideally with some awareness of UX and UI best practice.* Experience with Python for analysis or modelling is beneficial.
