LEAD DATA ENGINEER (AWS)
Remote (UK based)
Up to £120,000 + benefits
You'll be a technical leader who stays close to the code, and you'll own the data infrastructure and modelling layer while helping the team to grow.
THE COMPANY:
I'm partnering with a series C sports tech company building a modern, tech forward platform redefining user experience. They are focused on scaling up while maintaining their hands on and quality culture.
THE ROLE
- Lead the design and implementation of the modern data warehouse architecture
- Build and optimise data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and modelling
- Mentoring
- Set technical standards and best practices for the data team
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong data ingestion experience
- Strong data modelling experience e.g. dbt
- Ideally AWS/GCP background
- Data warehousing experience - e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
- IAC e.g. Terraform
- Orchestration experience e.g. dagster, airflow
THE BENEFITS:
You will receive a salary, dependent on experience. Salary is up to £120,000 On top of the salary there are some fantastic extra benefits.
