Role and Responsibilities

This role leads the technical strategy for the data function, owning the design, scalability, and long-term evolution of the data platform built on technologies such as Python, Dagster, dbt, Fivetran, Apache Iceberg, Snowflake, S3, Glue, ECS, Docker, and Omni. You'll work end-to-end across the data lifecycle, from ingestion and modelling through orchestration, monitoring, and analytics enablement, ensuring low-latency and high-quality data delivery.

The role involves designing and maintaining robust pipelines and data architectures that support analytics, BI, and broader engineering needs across the business. You'll drive engineering excellence by embedding best practices in testing, automation, observability, monitoring, version control, and code quality. Alongside hands-on technical leadership, you'll mentor engineers, lead code reviews, manage technical debt, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure data initiatives align with strategic priorities.
