Lead Product Analyst

Lead Product Analyst

London, Hybrid

Salary up to £100,000

This is a high-impact Lead Product Analyst role where your insights will directly shape a widely used, multi-product mobile app. You will sit at the heart of product decision-making, owning analytics and experimentation while influencing strategy across Product, Growth, and Engineering. If you enjoy combining hands-on analysis with strategic leadership, this role offers genuine ownership and visibility.

The Company

They are a fast-growing, product-led technology business operating in a highly regulated consumer space. Their mobile app supports a large and engaged user base across iOS and Android, with continued investment in data, experimentation, and product innovation. Data plays a central role in how decisions are made, and analytics is viewed as a strategic partner rather than a reporting function.

The Role

  • Act as the analytical lead for a core consumer app, owning product analytics end to end
  • Develop and maintain key product metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track user behaviour, engagement, and overall app health
  • Deliver deep-dive analysis into user journeys, segmentation, lifecycle behaviour, and friction points
  • Lead the full experimentation lifecycle, including hypothesis generation, test design, analysis, and recommendations
  • Apply advanced analytical and data science techniques such as churn prediction and uplift modelling to inform proactive product decisions
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Growth teams to embed data into everyday decision-making
  • Champion analytics best practice, statistical rigour, and experimentation standards across the wider analytics function

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in product or growth analytics within a digital or product-led environment
  • Advanced SQL skills with strong analytical capability in Python
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and data modelling best practices
  • Deep understanding of experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and causal inference
  • Strong statistical grounding with the ability to ensure robust and reliable insights
  • Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with consumer-facing products; exposure to financial services or fintech is beneficial
