I'm working with a fast-growing business that's investing heavily in data, AI, and modern cloud platforms to drive smarter commercial decisions and build customer-facing AI products.

With a strong product portfolio and a collaborative, fast-paced culture, the company offers a rare chance to shape core ML capability from the ground up, supported by experienced technical leadership and clear executive backing.

THE ROLE:

This is the first dedicated ML / AI Engineering hire, sitting at the intersection of Data Science, Engineering, and Product. The role exists to ensure machine learning models are deployable, monitored, retrained, and production-ready as AI initiatives scale across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operationalising ML models, including deployment, monitoring, retraining, and drift detection
  • Acting as the bridge between Data Science and Engineering to productionise models
  • Supporting a broad range of AI and ML initiatives, including:
    • Revenue management and pricing optimisation
    • Customer-facing AI products using LLMs and AI agents
    • Churn prediction and revenue forecasting
  • Defining and implementing ML best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards
  • Improving reliability, scalability, and observability of production ML systems

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A successful ML / AI Engineer will bring:

  • Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production
  • Experience with CI/CD in a production environment
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferred; Microsoft Fabric exposure is a plus)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Data Scientists and Product teams
  • Experience with customer, marketing, or personalisation data is beneficial

THE BENEFITS:
