They are a well established, international organisation undergoing a period of transformation, with a renewed focus on data driven decision making. A new leadership team is investing heavily in analytics to improve customer understanding, optimise marketing spend, and drive long term growth. The data science team has expanded rapidly and continues to grow across the UK and US, creating strong collaboration and progression opportunities.

The Role

You will sit within a marketing measurement and reporting team, focusing on understanding and improving marketing performance across channels. This role combines hands on modelling with real business impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and enhancing media mix models to measure and optimise marketing investment.
  • Scaling an established UK modelling framework and applying it to international markets.
  • Leading the evolution of marketing effectiveness modelling, with support and one direct report.
  • Working closely with marketing, CRM, and analytics stakeholders to turn insights into action.
  • Contributing to wider data science projects such as experimentation, propensity modelling, and recommendation systems.
  • Owning projects end to end, from problem definition through to measurable business impact.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong hands on experience with Python and applied machine learning.
  • Solid grounding in statistical and predictive modelling techniques.
  • Experience designing experiments and evaluating performance using A B testing or similar approaches.
  • Confidence working with real world, messy data and delivering production ready solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS is beneficial.
  • Exposure to Bayesian methods, random forests, or marketing analytics is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate how your work has delivered tangible value or influenced decision making.

What They Offer

  • Salary between £45,000 and £55,000 depending on experience.
  • 10 percent annual bonus.
  • Pension with 3 percent employer and 5 percent employee contribution.
  • Hybrid working with 2 to 3 days per week in the London office.
