Operations Analytics Lead

- Define and deliver the data and insights strategy for the operations function.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Act as the senior analytics partner to leadership teams, providing insight that drives business decisions.
- Establish and maintain trusted operational KPIs, reporting frameworks, and measurement standards.
- Design and oversee analytical approaches for major transformation and optimisation initiatives.
- Translate complex business challenges into structured analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
- Drive best practice across SQL development, reporting, analytics, and data governance.
- Champion self-service reporting and scalable data solutions to improve business efficiency.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence strategic priorities through evidence-based decision-making.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience leading a Data, Analytics, or Insights team within a commercial environment.
- Proven people management experience, including mentoring, coaching, and developing analysts.
- Advanced SQL skills and the ability to work confidently with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
- Strong understanding of experimentation, statistical analysis, performance measurement, and KPI development.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with a track record of using data to influence business outcomes.
- Python experience for analysis or automation would be advantageous.
