POWER BI DEVELOPER (RETAIL AND STOCK/WAREHOUSE) LEICESTER (2 DAYS ONSITE MIN)3 MONTHS OUTSIDE IR35 £400 PER DAYThis is an excellent opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join a fast-moving contract project delivering business-critical reporting and insights across finance and operations. You'll work on a variety of short-term initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to solve real business challenges through data.The Company They are a well-established consumer-focused organisation that relies on data to support operational and financial decision-making. Their analytics team works across multiple business functions, providing insight into performance, product initiatives, and operational efficiency. This contract offers exposure to a broad range of projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.The Role and Deliverables
- Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support finance and operational teams.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data models using a combination of existing datasets and new data sources.
- Create clear and effective visualisations that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions.
- Analyse the performance of new product and payment launches, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Support investigations relating to stock management, warehousing, and financial operations.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine reporting needs, and deliver solutions in an agile environment.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience developing reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of data modelling principles and best practice.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused BI environment.
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
- Experience working with Databricks.
- Background within retail, ecommerce, or other consumer-facing environments.
- Exposure to Python would be beneficial.
