Power BI Analyst - 6-Month Contract Series C Data & AI Scale-Up | High-Impact BI Delivery

As a specialist BI, Data & AI recruiter, I'm working exclusively with a rapidly scaling Data & AI start-up that has just secured Series C funding after four highly successful years. This is a business that has proven its model, won major clients, and is now investing heavily in analytics to support its next phase of growth.

They are looking to bring in a high-calibre Power BI Analyst on an initial 6-month contract to help elevate how data is consumed across the organisation.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, delivery-focused BI Analyst who enjoys owning work end-to-end and working closely with stakeholders. You'll be embedded with multiple teams, helping them articulate the KPIs and metrics that matter, then transforming those requirements into clear, intuitive Power BI dashboards used to drive real business decisions.

• Owning end-to-end BI projects, from requirements discovery through to dashboard delivery
• Engaging with stakeholders across product, commercial, operations and leadership to define KPIs
• Designing and building high-quality Power BI dashboards with a strong focus on usability and insight
• Writing and optimising SQL to extract, model and transform data from multiple sources
• Acting as a trusted analytics partner - translating business questions into data-led solutions
• Working at pace in a fast-moving, scaling environment

• Strong, demonstrable Power BI development expertise (this is a dashboard-heavy role)
• Advanced SQL skills and solid data modelling experience
• Proven end-to-end BI delivery experience
• Confident stakeholder management skills - able to challenge and influence when needed
• Experience working across multiple internal teams in agile or start-up environments
• High energy, ownership mindset, and a genuine interest in building analytics that drive impact
