BI Developer Up to £40,000 Hybrid - West Midlands (3x days per week)
The Company
Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the industrial and distribution sector, currently expanding their Business Reporting capability as part of a wider Business Transformation function. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to help deliver high-quality Power BI reporting and actionable insights across the business.
This role offers the opportunity to build high-quality Power BI reporting and deliver clear, actionable insights across the business. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Sales, Finance and eCommerce, developing dashboards and responding to ad hoc data requests to support confident, data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, including data models, DAX measures, visuals and row-level security
- Delivering timely ad hoc analysis with clear insight and commentary
- Validating data, documenting assumptions and improving data quality
- Translating business questions into well-defined reporting solutions
Key requirements:
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on Power BI experience
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis and data manipulation
- Clear communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
Experience in wholesale or distribution, ERP systems, Salesforce, Microsoft Fabric, or legacy Microsoft BI technologies would be advantageous but not essential.
