Location: Shoreditch (3 days per week onsite)Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 + benefits

With a data practice of over 300 specialists, the firm offers significant scope for leadership, growth, and commercial impact.

The Role As a Principal Data Modeller, you will combine technical expertise with business development and leadership responsibility. You will shape data modelling strategy for enterprise clients, guide delivery teams, and play an active role in growing client relationships and driving new opportunities across the data architecture function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data models and standards

  • Define data frameworks, governance, and metadata strategies for large-scale transformation projects

  • Partner with clients to identify opportunities for data modernisation and architecture improvement

  • Oversee multiple workstreams and mentor senior consultants and modellers

  • Support business development activity through client presentations, proposals, and thought leadership

Your Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in data modelling and data architecture within financial services or consulting

  • Proven ability to engage in business development and revenue growth initiatives

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

  • Deep knowledge of data modelling tools (ERWin, Sparx, RSA) and modern data architectures

  • Experience designing frameworks that support analytics, AI, and data science use cases
