The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be a key partner to teams across the business, helping them make confident, data-driven decisions. You will:

  • Extract, model, and validate data to ensure clean, reliable datasets for analysis and reporting.
  • Build and maintain clear, intuitive dashboards and reports that make data easy to access across product squads and wider teams.
  • Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights that influence product, marketing, and operational decisions.
  • Support the design, implementation, and measurement of new product features with robust tracking and well-defined performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders, using data to shape priorities and assess impact.
  • Conduct deep dives across the full customer journey to identify opportunities to improve experience and drive growth.
  • Contribute to a culture of data enablement, helping others self-serve and use data confidently in their day-to-day work.

Your Skills & Experience

They are looking for a Data Analyst who is curious, collaborative, and comfortable owning their work. You should bring:

  • Strong commercial experience using SQL to query large datasets in a modern data environment.
  • Experience working with data visualisation or BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar.
  • The ability to communicate insights clearly, tailoring your message for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, questioning mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and ask the right questions.
  • The ability to work autonomously, managing your own projects while seeking guidance when needed.
  • A solid understanding of core statistics and experimentation concepts such as A/B testing, significance testing, and confidence intervals.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in product or customer analytics within a digital, subscription, or marketplace business.
  • Familiarity with event tracking tools or customer data platforms such as Segment, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
  • Exposure to dbt, Python, or R for data modelling or deeper analytics.
  • Experience working in a scale-up or high-growth, fast-moving environment.
