Director of Innovation & Growth Location: Norfolk - Hybrid (2-3 days in office)Salary: £95,000 - £120,000 + bonus + benefits Start Date: ASAP

You'll be joining a fast-scaling firm that has grown rapidly through data innovation and thought leadership, with clients spanning developers, investors, and governments worldwide.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, product innovation, and data-driven insight, leading a high-performing team tasked with defining the future of the company's digital products and global growth initiatives.
The Role As Director of Innovation & Growth, you'll lead strategic product development and commercial expansion across global renewable energy markets. You'll work closely with executive leadership to shape how data, technology, and insight products evolve to meet changing client demands.
This is a senior, highly visible role-ideal for someone who thrives on blending commercial strategy with data innovation. You'll own the innovation roadmap, identify new market opportunities, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver products that strengthen the company's leadership position in energy intelligence.
Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the innovation strategy for data and digital insight products across renewable energy and offshore wind markets.

Identify emerging trends and technologies to inform product direction, commercial partnerships, and long-term growth initiatives.

Drive collaboration between product, commercial, and data science teams to turn ideas into scalable, market-ready solutions.

Lead market assessments and business cases for new product launches or platform enhancements.

Represent the company externally as a thought leader in energy transition, digital transformation, and data innovation.

Partner with marketing and sales teams to align product launches with client needs and industry developments.

Build and mentor a diverse, cross-functional team spanning product, insight, and commercial disciplines.

Oversee strategic relationships with key stakeholders-clients, industry partners, and internal leadership.
Skills & Experience
Essential:

Proven track record in innovation leadership, product strategy, or data-driven business growth within energy, renewables, or analytics.

Experience scaling or commercialising digital or SaaS-based insight platforms.

Deep understanding of energy transition trends, particularly offshore wind, grid, or low-carbon infrastructure.

Strong commercial mindset-comfortable developing business cases, defining go-to-market strategies, and delivering ROI.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence at executive level.

Strong understanding of data and analytics frameworks, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business outcomes.
Desirable:

Experience in consultancy, energy data services, or market intelligence.

Exposure to international markets (Europe, North America, or APAC).

Background in AI-driven or predictive analytics products.

Track record of leading cross-functional global teams.
