The Company

A fast-growing technology business developing a data-driven platform that helps users gain a clearer view of complex financial information. Working in Agile squads, they are investing heavily in automation, AI-assisted development, and modern engineering practices as they continue to scale.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving automated testing across a web platform and backend services, helping ensure quality, reliability, and performance while reducing manual testing.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining automated test frameworks
  • Creating UI and API test coverage across frontend and backend systems
  • Supporting regression testing for platform enhancements and integrations
  • Ensuring data accuracy and quality across complex systems
  • Leveraging AI tools to accelerate testing, debugging, and test creation
  • Contributing to CI/CD processes and quality best practices
  • Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with Java or Kotlin
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Rest Assured or Postman
  • UI automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, APIs, and backend testing
  • Experience building automation frameworks and strategies
  • Familiarity with Jira and CI/CD environments
  • Active use of AI tools within your engineering workflow, including Claude and N8N
  • Passion for reducing manual effort through automation
