QA Automation Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days per week)

Salary: £75k + Benefits

Type: Permanent Role

The Role:

· Join a high-growth technology business developing innovative digital financial products.

· Design, build and maintain automated testing solutions across a modern microservices environment.

· Work closely with Product Managers, Developers and QA colleagues to ensure high-quality software delivery.

· Drive automation best practices and reduce reliance on manual testing.

· Execute smoke, regression, functional and API testing activities.

· Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

· Proven years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.

· Strong Java and/or Kotlin programming skills.

· Experience with Selenium, Selenide or Playwright.

· Strong API testing expertise.

· Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit and automation frameworks.

· SQL and database testing experience.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.

· Previous experience within Agile teams.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

· Experience testing microservices architectures.

· Exposure to JMeter or Gatling.

· Experience with Elasticsearch and Sentry.

· Strong understanding of modern web technologies.

· Experience using AI tools to enhance testing workflows.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
