This is an exciting opportunity for a Retail Media Analyst to join a well-established retail business on a contract basis. You will play a key role in evaluating retail media performance, improving measurement frameworks, and partnering with stakeholders to maximise the impact of campaign activity across a broad media ecosystem.

They are a recognised consumer-facing organisation with a significant retail media presence across both digital and physical channels. The business is investing in its data and analytics capabilities to better understand campaign performance and support commercial decision-making. You will join a collaborative environment where analytics plays a central role in shaping retail media strategy.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Measure and evaluate retail media campaign performance across multiple channels, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Advise internal teams on campaign measurement, channel setup, tracking frameworks, and retail media best practice.
  • Partner with commercial stakeholders to align retail media activity with business objectives and performance targets.
  • Analyse effectiveness across CRM, point of sale, in-store screens, website activity, and paid social campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting, tracking, and analytical solutions using the existing data environment.
  • Support customer and digital activity analysis to improve understanding of campaign impact and channel performance.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in retail media analytics, with a proven ability to measure and optimise campaign performance.
  • Advanced SQL skills and the ability to work extensively with large-scale datasets.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks in a production analytics environment.
  • Working knowledge of Python and R for analytics and data manipulation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and BigQuery, including exposure to data migration or integration projects.
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working closely with commercial teams.
